Brandon V 666 This album is an absolute Black Metal Masterpiece. So glad this is finally being released on cd. I cant wait to see what the future brings for Firmament. This is seriously one of the greatest Black Metal albums ive ever heard. If you like Black Metal it is mandatory that you check this out, you will be glad you did.

H.L. "Firmament" is also the name of one of Midnight Odyssey's demos and that is for sure no coincidence. FIRMAMENT play very similar atmospheric ambient black metal in the cosmic way. The standard of the whole album is good, I only miss really memorable songs and I do not feel the unique magic Midnight Odyssey spreads. But check for yourself. Listen for example to the album's highlight "To sail across the night sky" with a nice clean vocals variation. Favorite track: To Sail Across the Night Sky.

Metallurgical Fire Unequivocally joyous black metal. At first the production was a bit tough to like, but for this style it fits. Older atmospheric and ambient bands are clearly an influence, but rarely do you get such an uplifting and calming approach to black metal. Kval fans should appreciate this. Favorite track: Shores of the Sky.
