Matt Richardson The strongest presence on this album is old school black metal with even a touch of classic heavy metal reminiscent of Darkthrone, but it really has a lot more to offer. Choral vocals, blast beats, percussion instruments, and atmospheric elements make this an album very worthy of repeat listens. Favorite track: Il Passo delle Cenge.

H.L. I got this special album through my Naturmacht subscription and I am glad that I did not miss it. It took some time until the rough and unpolished charm of "I Canti della Veglia" caught me as this ambitious album is not meant to be catchy. Instead it is extremely varied and spreads an intense atmosphere which is difficult to escape. Weired soundscapes meet sharp black metal riffing and an underground sound, rumbling drums, screams and spoken words. "Bezoar" is a good choice for first contact! Favorite track: Bezoar.

A' Répìt is a duo from Italy playing oldschool Black Metal.

"I canti della veglia" is the second and a concept album that brings back to life the ancient legends that old people used to tell children on harsh and dark winter evenings, when they had finished feeding the cattle and everything was under a veil of torpor and the ancient spirits of Nature and the creatures of the small people, like witches, demons and other presences woke up!

Gypaetus and Skarn await you on the high peaks with a very special guest, Nequam from "The Magik Way".

These musicians know how to drive music straight to the heart. Black metal is more than a cold premise for refined guitar work and multiple changes inside each song. Lyrics too are incredibly inspired and matching with music. Marrasmieli is a newborn flower, still covered by dew's brightness. Aallot is in particular a lesson of emotional crescendo, especially in second half of the song but in general, all the tracklist remains on the peak of the best inspiration.
