David Fischer So glad I discovered this project! Though I enjoy Demo 2 quite a lot more, Demo 1 is really solid and sets the foundation for the sound's expansion to be witnessed on Demo 2 and Urchig. I feel myself walking by this abandoned hut in the woods, merely lit by the stars above me, while paralyzing my respiratory passages with the icy air. Favorite track: (Demo 2018) Silence.

merry_fh great demo, raw and atmospheric without being pretentious, sounds fresh and that's a lot in a subgenere where is difficult not to sound like everyone else. It reminds me a little bit of Lustre in the way it gets almost ambient black but with audible vocals. Hope to get a full lengh without compromising the rawness of this demo. Favorite track: Hiver.

SouthernWolf Their first demo had me desperately hoping for more from Disparaître, and their second demo has not failed me. It's hauntingly beautiful, and strikes at something deep and neglected in my soul. Pairing both demos together was a killer move; the journey feels complete, at least until they return again.

It's tremendously difficult to breathe in the thick and gloomy atmosphere NONE creates in this release. It's adorned with riffs so delicious, yet so devastating. The tracks are repetitive, yet never once do they get mundane. Definitely worth the listen if you are into slower-paced DSBM, this is truly a masterpiece. ethan_t

absolutely loving this new, more natural sound. their first albums always had an intentionally cold feel to them, which i enjoyed, but this new sunlight-filled album really comes into it's own. they keep the mix tight and blurred but now the natural feel of a live drummer is more pronounced. this is how the mighty EARTH AND PILLARS needed to sound. crazy good album, and old fans will find this a refreshing new sound.
