Umbra Cornuta Delightful! The overall atmosphere is cruel and hostile, highlighted by tempestuous drums and vocals but tempered by ambiental, emotional structures, like "Nocturnal path" is. I appreciate even more projects where a single mind conceived and delivered everything, it's quite awesome. Like this album is!

But...oops! mutual_core, I have absolutely no remorse about it ;) Favorite track: Litany of Suffering and Reaction.

Ippocalyptica How is Anamnesi not more well known? Every individual element here is amazing: clean and harsh vocals, delicate guitar and symphonic passages adjacent to sections of ripping tremolo black metal riffing, drums that perfectly anchor the music at any tempo, actually audible bass, and very worthwhile ambient tracks that are equal to the atmospheric black metal songs! When all of these individual elements are combined, though, the sun is greater than its parts. A unique beast worthy of praise! Favorite track: Toward Rebirth.

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon.
